And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers...And all who believed were together and had all things in common...distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favour with all the people. Acts 2:42-47
We desire to nurture authentic, Christian community where we value and care for one another and enjoy true fellowship.
We believe that only the sixty-six books of the Bible are the inspired and, therefore, inerrant Word of God. The Bible is the final authority for all we believe and how we are to live. (Mt. 5:18; Jn. 10:35; 17:17; 2 Tim. 3:16–17; 2 Pet. 1:20–21)
God moves at the sound of our voice no matter how simple our prayers might be.
“And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.” – Revelation 5:8
We are called to be a praying church and a house of prayer.
“But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men." 1 Cor. 14:3
"For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Revelation 19:10
God has spoken from the beginning of time. He still speaks today. We are a community of believers who position ourselves to hear God's voice.
We love to worship God from the place of intimately knowing and enjoying Him. We desire to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit. We want to be a community that "worship Him in spirit and in truth". John 4:24
When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.”. Matthew 14:14
God has called us to minister to the poor and we love to express the heart of Christ – through sharing the gospel and acts of compassion.
